On June 18-25 the pilgrims on horseback for the 10th time arrived from the Sanctuary of St. Hedwig of Silesia to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Licheń (distance of about 250 km). From 2005 the group is accompanied by the Salvatorian Father Krzysztof Dorna from the Parish in Koczurki.

On June 16, 2015 in Kosciusko, Texas (USA) passed away our Confrere Father Stanisław Oleksy. Recently he was the Pastor of St. Ann Parish in Kosciusko.

Representation of the BVM the Queen of the World Parish from Bielsko-Biała (Mikuszowice Śląskie) is the winner of the 9th Salvatorian Football Championship, which took place on June 11-13 this year, in Cracow, in the shadow of the Royal Wawel Castle. It was organized by the Salvatorian Vocation Center. The Hungarian team from Galgahévíz won the second place and the team from Więciórka the third one.

June 2nd 2015 marks the launch of the new website of the Polish Province of the Salvatorians. In fact the site is not entirely new as it retains the previously published content but has been redesigned and now offers a more intuitive navigation system and is compatible with mobile devices. More materials in the English language have been added as well. We hope that this initiative will help spread the charism and mission of the Salvatorian Family.

Last weekend, May 29-30, in Trzebnica took place another edition of the Salvatorian Festival of Religious Song “Love the Love.” It was organized by the Salvatorian Youth Movement (Polish abbreviation: RMS). The following won the awards this year:

During their nine years history the Lay Salvatorians from Poland developed the tradition of the annual spiritual retreats, which take place in Trzebinia. Few years ago someone proposed additional meetings, that was organized on May 9-10 this year. Thanks to the hospitality of Fr. On May 23rd 2015 three Deacons and five scholastics of our Salvatorian Major Seminary in Bagno were ordained to the Priesthood and Deaconate by the Most Reverend Jurij Kasabucki, Auxiliary Bishop of the Minsk-Mohilev Archdiocese. The celebration took place in the Basilica Minor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Trzebinia, in the presence of parents, relatives, friends of the newly ordained as well as their Pastors and other Priests...

Fr. Kazimierz Wysogląd was born on February 22nd 1950 in Nidek, near Wadowice, on the territory of the Archdiocese of Kraków. He was baptized on March 1st of the same year in the local parish church. He had one brother and three sisters. His parents, Stanisław and Stefania nee Jordanek, were farmers. In 1964 Kazimierz entered the Minor Seminary of the Franciscan Friars in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, where he attended classes of the 8th and 9th grade of the Middle School.

On February 2, 2015, in the community house in Kraków-Zakrzówek, began the XXXI Provincial Chapter of the Polish Province of the Society of the Divine Saviour. Its context is the Year of Consecrated Life and the Salvatorian Missionary Year. The motto of the Chapter is: “Our Saviour’s Mission is our passion.”
