The Salvatorian community farewells late Fr. Stanisław Piwowarczyk. In the memory of his confreres and many lay people to whom he served so eagerly, he will remain as a cheerful, pious and committed Salvatorian. The particular feature of his character was the passion in fulfilling his duties, as well as the care for the beauty of liturgy and for the esthetics of the church interiors designed by him.

Australia: Priestly ordination during COVID-19

On April 16th 2020 in the Australian Region of Polish Province of the Salvatorians Fr. Paul Tran SDS was ordained to priesthood. Fr. Paul is a member of East Asian Mission Vicariate of SDS. From August 2019 he was working as a deacon in St. Patrick Parish in Gosford, NSW, Australia.
Trzebnica - Discovered after 256 years!

On March 11th 2020, around 11.00 am, during the research and conservation works on the tomb of St. Hedwig of Silesia in our basilica in Trzebnica, with the guidance of Divine Providence, the remains of Hedwig - the Duchess of Silesia - were discovered. When we were looking for the answer why the tomb brakes and shatters, we also decided to find the place where “a wooden box covered with silver and containing the remains of St. Hedwig” is resting.

On January 23rd 2020 in Mikołów (Poland) Fr. Antoni Polaniak SDS has ended his earthly pilgrimage. He was a true Salvatorian, man of many gifts, an artist who proclaimed Jesus Christ through the sacred art.
