On Monday, July 19th 2010, at the Basilic of St. Jadwiga in Trzebnica took place the funeral of Fr. Antoni Kiełbasa, Salvatorian priest, professor, extraordinarily devoted to St. Jadwiga and amateur of the city of Trzebnica and Lower Silesia.

At the last farewell to Fr. Antoni participated numerously gathered people, grateful to God for his life and work. The Most Rev. Edward Janiak of Wrocław presided over the Holy Mass and Fr. Piotr Filas, provincial superior of the Polish Province SDS gave the homily. The speeches were given, among others, by representatives of local authorities, academies (where Fr. Antoni worked) and religious congregations of sisters.
Fr. Antoni was buried at St. Bartholomew’s crypt under the sanctuary of the Basilic. For more pictures from the funeral please see the Polish version of this article.
