This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the prayer night vigils, which take place every 13th day of the month at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Trzebinia. As we approached the conclusion of the Year for Priests, the June prayer vigil was dedicated especially to prayer for our priests and to reflection on their role, tasks and expectations of Christ and the Church from the priests.

The Solemn Holy Mass at 9 p.m. celebrated our newly ordained priests together with other Salvatorian priests from the Polish communities. Fr. Piotr Filas, provincial superior, gave the homily, in which he emphasized Our Lady’s example and the need of prayer for priests and for new vocations. In the vigil participated seminarians of the Major Salvatorian Seminary of Bagno with the rector Fr. Jerzy Madera and their formators. The vigil was organized by Fr. Piotr Żydek, guardian of the Sanctuary, and the local community.
