For 50 years our Confreres at the Salvatorian Vocation Center have been assisting young people in discerning their vocation. Today it is difficult to find out the number of people, who have participated in the events organized by the Center, but it is known, that many of them became priests and religious at the Society of the Divine Savior and other religious congregations or dioceses.

During the Fatima Vigil, which took place at night on September 18/19 in Trzebinia, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Salvatorian Vocation Center. At the meeting, besides young people, arrived priests, who previously were responsible for the activity of the Center: Fr. Wiesław Orawiecki SDS, Fr. Krzysztof Seweryn SDS, Fr. Leonard Czuchoński SDS, Fr. Krzysztof Wons SDS, Fr. Ryszard Stankiewicz SDS, Fr. Sławomir Soczyński SDS, Fr. Mikołaj Markiewicz SDS, Fr. Rafał Ziajka SDS and Fr. AleFrander Jasiński SDS. This year the Vigil opened the concert of the Stróże Poranka music band. Then took place the meeting entitled: “Salvatorian Vocation Center yesterday and today” dedicated to the history and development of this apostolate. The central part of the meeting was the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Krzysztof Wons SDS. The homily was given by Fr. Krzysztof Seweryn SDS and the procession led Fr. Wiesław Orawiecki SDS. In the Holy Mass participated Fr. Piotr Filas SDS, provincial superior of our Province and many of our Confreres. The Vigil’s motto was “Take This and go…” was organized in collaboration with the Salvatorian Youth Movement and with the Salvatorian Sisters Vocation Apostolate. There also were present Sisters of the Family of Bethany.
